Spring and fall yard cleanup

After winter or toward the end of the growing season, a yard may need more than mowing.

Spring: prepare a usable yard

The first goal is to understand what has accumulated and which areas need attention. Older leaves, small fallen branches and scattered debris present different constraints from heavy piles or unidentified materials. Photos taken after snowmelt help support a more useful assessment.

The ground must be suitable for access without avoidable damage. Saturated or fragile areas may need more favorable conditions. No spring cleanup schedule is being advertised before opening dates and actual service scope are confirmed.

Fall: focus on leaves and access

Describe the amount of leaves, affected surfaces and accumulation areas. A yard with several trees may require different planning from a small grass strip. If leaves are still falling, say whether you want a single visit or work at a particular point in the season.

Yard cleanup does not automatically include gutter work, roofing tasks or equipment winterization. Those activities are outside the advertised services. The desired outcome and areas to be addressed must appear in the proposal.

Sorting, collection and removal need agreement

Materials need to be identified before sorting or removal arrangements are decided. Volume, access and the arrangements applicable to the property affect planning. Do not assume off-site hauling is included: ask for it to be clearly specified, with any limits.

Heavy objects, construction materials, hazardous substances and unidentified waste require a separate assessment and may not be accepted. The form allows photos; use them to show accumulations rather than relying on property area alone.

Prepare a seasonal request

Separate priority areas from secondary tasks and identify items to keep. Point out beds, young plants, fragile surfaces and anything hidden under leaves. An overview plus several detail photos is more useful than one tightly cropped image.

GazonPro’s initial operating plan is for summer 2027. You can prepare an inquiry about spring or fall, but availability for those periods and dates must be confirmed before a commitment. A quote request remains an inquiry, never a guaranteed booking.

Estimate accumulations without understating volume

A leaf-covered surface and a compact pile in a corner do not necessarily require the same planning. Show both if your property has different accumulation types. Describe wet, mixed or hidden materials without opening unidentified containers or moving unsafe loads for a photo.

An estimate should distinguish the area to cover from the volume to gather. Also say whether materials should remain in an agreed place on the property or whether removal is requested. Those choices affect scope and need confirmation rather than interpretation during the visit.

Identify areas that should remain untouched

Planting beds, areas you intentionally preserve and fragile installations can be hard to identify under leaves. Use a simple sketch or mark areas on a photo. Clarifying boundaries is preferable to asking for uniform cleanup when some spaces should remain as they are.

If you intentionally leave material in a particular area, say so. Cleanup should not change that choice without agreement. Arrangements should also explain how an unexpected discovery will be handled, such as a fragile item or waste not described in the initial inquiry.

Separate preparation from a confirmed booking

You can gather property information before a seasonal schedule opens. That does not mean spring or fall visits are already available. The planned summer 2027 launch needs to be distinguished from work associated with other periods.

Once dates are confirmed, your inquiry still needs assessment against current conditions. Older photos can explain history, but recent images are needed if volume, access or property condition has changed. The final proposal should reflect the present situation.

Frequently asked questions

Is waste hauling included?

It needs confirmation based on materials, volume and access. Ask for an explicit statement in the quote.

Can I request leaf collection only?

Describe the surfaces and approximate amount. A focused scope can be assessed without assuming a complete yard cleanup.

When can I book spring 2027 work?

No spring opening has been confirmed. Current planning is for summer 2027; other periods require owner confirmation.
